Steve
Werner---American
Troubadour

The CD---Biker Campfire
The open road, your bike humming underneath you and a
campfire with your friends at the end of the day. What more could
you ask for? The fun, the people, the parties and the siren song
of Freedom are the things that American biker troubadour Steve
Werner sings about on his new CD, Biker Campfire.
All the songs Steve has written for the Easyriders Video Magazine and more! Sixteen songs in all, including his big biker hits, Red Harley-Davidson, Giant Thing, the Zoo, King of Main Street, Hey Old Friend and the Sturgis Tango.
This record is like if you took Jim Croce, John Hiatt, Townes Van Zandt, and Ramblin Jack Elliott, Squashed em together, stuffed em in the toolbag of a chopped 59 panhead bound for Sturgis, rode a thousand miles and let em out to sing around a campfire while you and your buddies eat some Dinty Moore Beef Stew and pass around some strong red wine in a leather bota bag. Tons of genuine good-vibe biker attitude, Steve's excellent blugrassy guiar picking, and a wicked sense of humor to boot. Its powerful music about the biker lifestyle played with heart, guts and humor. Why, Its a must for bikers, friends of bikers or parole officers of bikers.
Some Reviews
"What a voice, and what a
guitar!"
Can 16 songs sporting only voice and guitar knock your socks off
and rattle your free spirit soul? YES...is the answer when it
comes to Steve Werner's " Biker Campfire " CD. What a
voice, and what a guitar! Full of biker attitude and believeable
as hell. Pardon the pun, but Steve's production is so
warm.......one really feels like they're sitting around a Biker's
Campfire. Makes you wanna go out and buy a Harley.....and hit the
road. A+++++

"A talented songwriter and
musician."
Steve Werner is a talented songwriter and
musician-Steves energetic guitar work is evident throughout
the CD. King of Main Street, Scars, Red Harley-Davidson, Hey Old
Friend and Biker Campfire, all make the listener want to go out,
get on the bike and fulfill that wish to become a scooter tramp.
Willie or Waylon could sing any of these and make hits out of
them. But it is the wild, ribald, Sturgis Tango that takes the
prize for being the most gleefully offensive, and the most
evocative of the Sturgis experience. The listener gets the
definite feeling that Steve has been there and done that

"Classic
Biker Attitude"
The title, "Biker Campfire," is a perfect title for
this album. The lyrics are classic biker attitude. The music does
have the potential to appeal to anyone who loves the folk/roots
rock styles. The songs are very entertaining, and definitely
something that most people can relate to. Overall, this album has
everything to make the perfect ending for the latter part of the
party. I enjoyed it a lot, and think that most others will as
well.
